Arena and Pavilion FAQ's
01. What types of events do you hold in the Arena and Pavilion?
The Arena hosts horse shows, rodeos, dirt events and small concerts. The Pavilion hosts livestock show and sales and is used for the stalling of animals during Arena Events.
02. How do I reserve a date?
Dates are reserved by paying a refundable Security Deposit. Deposits are refundable after the event.
03. What is the seating capacity of the Arena?
The Arena has 3000 permanent bleacher seats. This includes VIP seating in the north and south end of the Arena. These seats are accessible by elevator and feature 19-22" stadium seats.
04. Are concessions provided during events?
Yes. The Brazos County Expo Complex has a year-round concessionaire.
05. Are RV rentals available?
There are 78 RV spaces with water and electric hook-ups. RV spaces are available for use during shows on a limited first-come basis.
06. Will I need security during the event?
Yes. Security is required for all events open to the public and overnight security is required for multi-day events and when the RV spaces are in use.
07. Do you require insurance for events?
Yes. A General Liability Insurance policy is required for all events.
08. Is there show management and/or judge office space available?
Yes. The Pavilion features a show management office and a judges office is located in Arena. Both are air conditioned.
09. Do you have wireless internet?
Yes. Wireless internet access is free as of March 2013.
10. Are the Arena and Pavilion Air Conditioned?
No. Both facilities feature several large commercial Low-speed, high-volume fans. The temperature stays comfortable year round in both facilities.

 

Exhibit Hall FAQ's
01. What is the size of the Exhibit Hall?
The Exhibit Hall has a total of 29,000 square feet. There are 5 separate rooms that range from 2,900 sq. ft. to 11,500 sq. ft.
02. What size events do you host?
Events in the Exhibit Hall can range from as small as 50 guests up to 2,000 guests.
03. How do I reserve a date?
Dates are reserved by paying a refundable Security Deposit. The deposit is one half of your rental fee, and if you are serving alcohol there is an additional $150 security deposit. Deposits are refundable after the event.
04. Are outside caterers allowed?
We have a list of Approved Catering Partners that you may choose from.
05. Is alcohol allowed?
Yes. Alcohol must be brought in and served by an Approved Alcohol Provider from the Expo's Catering List.
06. What about security during my event?
Yes. Security is necessary during events, especially if alcohol is being served. We will schedule the peace officers for your event.
07. Do you have wireless internet?
Yes. Wireless internet access is free as of March 2013.
08. How will the room be set-up?
Our staff will have several pre-event meetings to discuss your event. We will customize a room layout for your approval, and the room will be set-up when you arrive to decorate.
09. Do you provide linens and decorations?
We do not provide any linens or decorations.
10. Are we responsible for clean-up?
Yes, you are responsible for clearing off tables and removing decorations after the event.
11. Is there staff available during our event?
Yes, an Event Coordinator and part-time event staff are assigned to your event.
