TJLA Show Camp Comes to the Expo

Well, school is winding down as we enter into May and that means that many kids in Texas are gearing up for the summer livestock shows. That being said, one great way to prepare for the excitement and the competition is through the TJLA Show Camp that is being held this weekend, May 4-6, at the Expo. The TJLA Show Camp brings together kids from across Texas and their families for a weekend filled with informative sessions, judging excercises and helpful show tips to prepare them for what lies ahead. This years show camp begins with Check-In on Friday, followed by their Family Fun Night.

41st Annual PRCA Rodeo

The 41st Annual PRCA Rodeo is coming to the Expo April 19-21. Advance tickets will be available, $10/Adults, $8/Kids 3-12, Kids 2 and under are free. Tickets will be sold at Atkinson Toyota, Texas Rose Boutique, Cavender's Boot City, The Eagle, Producers Cooperative, Catalena Hatters, and First State Bank of Bedias.

This PRCA rodeo has something for everyone with Muttin' Bustin', Challenged Kids Rodeo, Pony Rides, Clowns, a petting zoo, trick riding and a calf scramble. Be sure to come out to the Expo and enjoy this fun filled, family event.

Ribbon Cutting & Open House

Guests gathered in the new Ballrooms last night for a ribbon cutting to announce the Brazos Valley Fair, and stayed for an open house reception to celebrate the Expo's phase II expansion.

Taste of Home 2011

Hundreds of cooking enthusiasts attended the sixth-annual Taste of Home Cooking School at the Expo last night.
